This weekend, Camp Kouch will debut in Charleston, South Carolina, curated by the team at Kouch Kollective. Billed as an immersive, community-driven festival blending underground bass music, art, and wellness into a three-day lakeside experience, it is the culmination of years of intentional growth, curation, and dedication to elevating the region’s music scene.
Leading the inaugural lineup are some of the most respected names in bass music, including EAZYBAKED, The Widdler, Resonant Language, Artifakts, and Tripp St., alongside a deep roster of rising and established underground talent. With multiple stages of music, Camp Kouch is designed to keep energy flowing from day into night, giving attendees plenty of options throughout the weekend.
A Venue That Feels Like Home
Set at a brand-new Charleston some are calling “the second coming of Suwannee,” the festival grounds offer a rare blend of natural beauty and accessibility.
Expect:
- Lakeside views and open skies
- Moss-draped trees and forest pathways
- A secluded, nature-first atmosphere
It’s the kind of setting that turns a lineup into an experience, where wandering between stages feels just as meaningful as the sets themselves, as this is often where the magic happens and the connections are made.
Beyond The Music
Camp Kouch leans fully into the idea of a multi-dimensional festival. Beyond the stages, attendees can explore:
- Live painting and immersive art installations
- Movement, wellness, and sound healing workshops
- A curated selection of food vendors and craft makers
This isn’t just about watching performances, it’s about participating in a creative, communal environment built for connection and discovery. Some of our personal highlights are definitely Crawdad Sniper’s Crawboil and the legendary gRLL sMTH & friends cookout, as well as soundcamps from several influential crews including our friends over at Synthesis, so be sure to check your daily schedule and start making notes now!
Getting Around
While the setting feels like an escape, logistics remain simple. The festival is located less than 30 minutes from Charleston International Airport, with nearby hotels, stores, and amenities all within a short drive. The balance between immersive nature and real-world convenience is part of what makes Camp Kouch so approachable for both seasoned festival-goers and newcomers alike, and anyone who has made their rounds on the circuit will appreciate the attention to detail and overall flow of the site.
“At its core, Camp Kouch represents something bigger than a weekend event. It’s a reflection of a growing movement, one rooted in community, sound system culture, and a deep respect for the underground.”
For Kouch Kollective, this debut is more than a “launch party”. It’s the culmination of years of work and a grand vision to bring the east coast community together. For attendees, it’s an invitation to be part of something from the VERY beginning, so don’t miss out on the experience… There are a limited amount of tickets still available and just hours until music starts!
