The experimental electronic realm has no shortage of novelties. Every day it seems like a new niche is being explored, a new artist is being discovered, or a new sound is being inspected. Today, our latest discovery brings us to Amsterdam where a highly adventerous duo known as not yes have begun laying the foundation for their debut LP – Stay Yope.

Set to release on April 18th, not yes have offered fans a preview of what to expect with a pair of singles that showcase their sonic intentions. Starting with “all talk,” we are met with hip-hop infused grooves and swinging basslines that capture the ethos not yes have been engineering for years.
But then we arrive at “Josephine,” a light and airy beat matrix that indicates a softer and more ethereal approach.
While these two tracks might land on different sides of the spectrum, they fit together seamlessly. Will Stay Yope be a beat-oriented bass album, a progressive breakbeat album, or all of the above?
“We took out the fluff and brought it back to the essence of our project. We want to make every hit matter. Not clean per se — certainly still dirty — but way more intentional and thoughtful than our previous releases.” – Fotis (1/2 of not yes)

In addition to representing a different place in the world, not yes are also trying to show love to a different time in the world with the release of limited edition CDs that will feature the entirety of the LP. From their sound and distribution to visuals and overall aura, not yes do things differently and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for their first full-length album.
Keep an eye out for the next single from the album dropping later this month and the full thing on April 18th, 2025!
